Lifeline Charter School
Lifeline Charter School is one of several schools owned by Lifeline Education Charter Schools. It is the Middle School of this Non-Profit organization located in the city of Compton, CA. Their mission is to give borderline students a boost in their education.
The organization purchased a nonconforming building at 425/477 E. Compton Blvd. to adapt it to a middle school. They contracted with Masbuild for A&E services to achieve their goals of a DSA-approved middle school.
THE CHALLENGE
Adapt an existing 2-story 26,000 sq. ft. commercial building constructed around 1947-1951 on less than an acre into a 16-classroom Middle school building.
